This is also why we partner with state and local economic development organizations to attract new business to our service territory and encourage existing business to expand. As a member of The South Carolina Power Team, a unique electric power production, distribution and marketing alliance, we're in a position to provide exceptional service to business and industry. The Power Team consists of Santee Cooper, a state-owned electric utility; 20 electric distribution cooperatives; and Palmetto Economic Development Corporation, an economic development marketing organization. This powerful coalition enables Laurens Electric to effectively serve customers and maintain consistently low rates. By providing engineering assistance, incentive rates and loan and grant programs, the Power Team also encourages development and creates jobs in South Carolina's upstate. Laurens Electric doesn't stop at encouraging new growth, however. We've developed a wide range of programs for commercial and residential customers. In addition, we meet with our industrial members on a regular basis to gauge their satisfaction with our service and gain insight into how we might serve them better. By actively soliciting input and always listening closely to what our members have to say, we're often able to anticipate and always able to respond quickly to our members' needs.
