Electric offers E-Billing Notification Service
Co-op members
who would like to take advantage of E-billing must
first submit an authorization
form (Download PDF) , complete with e-mail address.
Those who sign up for e-billing will receive a notification
via e-mail when a new bill has been added to their
account. The notification will offer a direct link
to Laurens Electric's online payment feature; however,
members who use e-billing may still pay their bills
by mail or phone if they so choose. If not planning
to use the pay online feature when notified via
e-mail, members are asked to print the e-bill and
mail in with payment, remembering to include the
account number. In addition, members can opt for
a traditional hard copy of their electric bill to
be sent in the mail, as well as getting the e- mail
notification.
The e-bill will continue in the same billing cycle
as the traditional bill, but members will receive
the e-bill notification a few days sooner than through
traditional mail. The e-bill notification system
will not only save members postage or mileage, but
will save Laurens Electric money on postage and
printing. Members of the co-op know that when Laurens
Electric saves money, those savings are passed on
to our
members.
To sign up for the e-bill notification service,
members may call customer service at 1-800-942-3141
to request that an e-bill authorization form be
mailed to them, or click on the following link to
print out and mail in a pdf version of the
authorization form (Download PDF).
