Laurens Electric offers golfers shot at $1 million
Event proceeds to benefit children’s charity ‘For Our Children’

Come to the Eagle Zone Golf Improvement Center on Pelham Road in Greenville April 25-26 for a chance to win $1 million in Laurens Electric Cooperative’s sixth annual Million Dollar Hole In One Shootout. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Upstate children’s charity ‘For Our Children.’
8 players will qualify each day by being closest to the pin to compete in the finals, when participants have a chance of winning one million dollars by shooting a hole-in-one. Qualifying times are Friday, April 25 from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The finals will follow on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Other prizes awarded during the finals will include $500 each day to the shots closest to the pin. Finalists will receive coolers, golf towels, and other items.
Laurens Electric is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the citizens in the upstate and in the communities the cooperative serves. All proceeds from the Hole In One Shootout will benefit For Our Children, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, established to promote and sustain the Upstate’s commitment to the education, development, and well-being of its children.. Through the generosity of the community, For Our Children has raised $400,000 for the children of the Upstate since its inception in May 2004.
Last year’s Million Dollar Hole In One Shootout earned $13,000 for the charity. Every dollar spent at the hole-in-one event is a dollar that will go to For Our Children, a fantastic way to support the community, an outstanding agency and have a great time in the process.
