It's our best residential rate available, and you can qualify if your home meets the requirements listed below.  Ceiling insulation   Insulation material of R-30 value    Wall insulation   Total wall insulation of R-13 value    Floor insulation   Over crawl space of unconditioned basement, insulation material of R-19 value    Windows   Insulated glass (thermopane) or storm windows    Heating & air conditioning   Must utilize electricity as primary energy source. Heat or air ducts in unconditioned space must have mechanically fastened joints which are sealed. All ductwork must also be wrapped with two inches minimum duct wrap insulation or equivalent    Water heating   Must use electricity as primary energy source    Attic ventilation   At least one square foot of free exhaust area from attic for every 150 Square feet of attic space    Fireplaces & flues   Must have tight-fitting dampe    Underpinning   Home must be underpinned This rate applies only to members who live in single-family homes, mobile homes, apartments and condominiums.
