Rate Change Notification

Dear Member,  

Beginning with October's billing, Laurens Electric Cooperative will be changing base rates and charges for the electric service that you receive. The cooperative has not had a base rate change in almost 20 years, since 1991. The adjustments are a result of changes in costs to provide you with electric service and wholesale power.   

Although the new rate adjustments will raise the cooperative's base rate charges to you, the average monthly bill per member will not increase.
